Design language: The M8 adopts the "Kunpeng" design concept. Its front face style is consistent with the M9, but it has its own unique features in detail processing. In the front part, the newly designed headlight group integrates chrome trim, daytime running lights, high and low beam lights, and has intelligent interaction capabilities. The rear of the car adopts a striking through-type taillight design, which is combined with the Huawei car language system to improve recognition.

It is particularly worth mentioning that its 5 high-precision 4D millimeter-wave radars (including 3 distributed radars in the forward direction) have improved the recognition accuracy of overlapping areas through a fusion algorithm. This allows the vehicle to identify blurred or difficult-to-see driving scenes earlier, thereby triggering AEB automatic emergency braking or eAES emergency avoidance functions. Compared with ordinary millimeter-wave radars, its detection distance has been increased by 35% and its accuracy has been increased by 4 times.

Excellent wading ability: Although Wenjie M8 is a pure electric model mainly for urban roads, it still has an emergency wading depth of up to 700mm. In the event of sudden heavy rain or urban waterlogging, the driver can activate the "water-proof slow-moving mode" with one click. In this mode, the vehicle will automatically optimize the power output strategy and intelligently adjust the chassis height to ensure that it can pass through the water stably and at a uniform speed, providing reliable safety protection for wading driving.
